PROJECT JESUS update: Ephesians video 1 just added

Hi folks

As you know, PROJECT JESUS is a digital (sand hopefully much more useful) alternative to the classic "Study Bible". You will get five videos for each New Testament book (I started with projecting four videos, but now changed it to five per New Testament book). PROJECT JESUS is also a quickly accessibility alternative to the courses I offer. Those courses offer much more depth, of course. But not everybody has to time and resources for courses.

Here is how the five video types for each NT book break down:

• Video 1 - Three must-knows to approach that book
• Video 2 - How this should affect your interpretation
• Video 3 - Intertextuality (connections to other books)
• Video 4 - The narrative frame or lens assumed by the book
• Video 5 - Transformations (how the book affects us)

You already saw "Revelation video 1". I just added video 1 for Ephesians. If you bought PROJECT JESUS and log in now, you should see two videos under "New Testament" I will shortly add "Ephesians video 2" and so on.

Why the strange order initially? So you get an early sense not only of the different video types eventually offered for each NT text, but for how we need to position ourselves a little differently for each New Testament book based on its genre etc. A hallmark of PROJECT JESUS (as opposed to Study Bibles) is interpretive helpfulness: Example: Revelation and Ephesians are both circular letters, but they are quite different in content. So I chose to focus on those two at this point. They require related but distinct background knowledge to enable quality reading. Once PROJECT JESUS is complete, it will all even out and you will have a complete set of videos for each NT book.

If you or someone you know wants access to but has has not purchased PROJECT JESUS, please send them to my store

Thank you and welcome!
